The Food Bank Network of Somerset County

How You Can Help

The Food Bank Network of Somerset County is incorporated as a charitable, not-for-profit organization. We receive some government and United Way assistance, but the majority of our food and funding comes from donations from Somerset County residents. Many area churches and synagogues organize weekly or monthly food drives. If your faith community or office or scout group is interested in conducting a food drive, please contact the Executive Director for information on organizing one. Local businesses, ranging from small businesses to major corporations, also donate food and money. If your business or place of worship does not participate, perhaps you could urge that they begin. Of course, your individual contribution of food, money, or time is also welcome.
